RV roof and leak repair

Desert sun is hard on RV roofs. Sealant around vents, skylights, the AC and the edges dries out and cracks, and you may not know until a rare storm finds the gap. Water damage spreads inside walls and floors before it shows.

Things to check before you send a request
- If it's leaking now, cover the spot from the outside with a tarp if you can reach it safely.
- Take photos of stains and the roof. You can describe them in your request.
- Don't walk on the roof unless you know it's rated for it.
Roof work is a good thing to schedule before you leave the rig for the summer. Ask the tech what roof material you have, since repairs differ.
